Giovanna Luciano

is Assistant Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Padova. Her research interests focus on Classical German Philosophy (especially Kant and Hegel), critical theory and critical pedagogy. She has been working on Hegel’s logic, the concept of critique in Kant’s and Hegel’s philosophy, and issues of humanism, emancipation, social criticism and education between Classical German Philosophy and contemporary critical theory. She is currently working on the idea of a “critical education” in Hegel’s philosophy. She is co-coordinator of the research group on Classical German Philosophy at the University of Padova (hegelpd.it) and co-founder of the Australian Hegel Society (australianhegelsociety.com).
